Dr. Brian Albert is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He is a practicing cardiologist with Northwest Heart Specialists and Chief of the department of cardiology at Northwest Community Hospital. Gunnar B.J. Andersson, M.D., Ph.D., is the William A. Hark, M.D. – Suzanne G. Swift Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Andersson’s primary clinical interest is in spine, where he specializes in conditions of the lower back. His research focuses on epidemiology and occupational biomechanics. He has authored more than 200 original papers, several textbooks and more that 140 book chapters. Dr. Andersson is also active in several national and international societies.
Before joining OAD Orthopaedics in 2002, Dr. Andreshak served as Chief of the Orthopaedic Spine Service and Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in the United States Air Force. He also served as the USAF Expert for Orthopaedic Spine Surgery for the Department of Defense “Centers of Excellence” Initiative. Dr. Andreshak is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Andreshak specializes in the conservative and surgical treatment of spine and neck disorders and is currently involved in a number of research projects.
Dr. Augé is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the care of the Knee and Shoulder, in Joint Replacement Surgery, and other Sports/Repetitive-Use injuries. David S. Caminear, D.P.M. joined Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists, P.C. in 1996 being the first podiatric surgeon in Connecticut to associate with an orthopaedic practice. He provides comprehensive foot care with expertise in reconstructive foot surgery, trauma to the foot and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Caminear graduated from the University of Vermont in 1986. Following two years of research at the Brigham and Woman's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, he graduated summa cum laude from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Chicago, Illinois in 1992. He completed his residency training in Podiatric Surgery at Edgewater Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois in 1994. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Caminear resides in Branford, Connecticut with his wife Christine, their son Michael and daughter Carolyn.
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Chan completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude and valedictorian from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1993. Following post-graduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in 1999 Dr. Chan completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery under the direction of David P. Green, M.D., at the Hand Center of San Antonio. Dr. Chan was then in private practice in Richmond, Virginia, for two years before returning to New Jersey. Today, Dr. Chan is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and holds the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He has staff privileges at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Somerset Medical Center, Overlook Hospital, Saint Barnabas Medical Center and St. Clare’s Hospital.

Dorothy R. Ferraro, MS, CS, ANP, is the Medical Director of Columbia's Center for Obesity Surgery and Clinical Director of the Center for Advanced Surgery at Lawrence Hospital located in Bronxville, NY. She has specialized in the field of obesity surgery for more than 13 years, was a coordinator for the LAP-BAND® clinical trials in the US, and has been instrumental in the development of bariatric practices throughout the United States. She is a graduate of the School of Nursing at Stony Brook where she earned a master's degree and certification as a Nurse Practitioner. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at Columbia University. Stephen J. Ferzoco, MD, is the Chief of Emergency Surgery and Associate Director of Level 1 Trauma Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition, he is the Associate Program Director, Residency Training Program, Department of Surgery, Brigham and Women's Hospital, MA. Dr. Ferzoco, an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, obtained his B.A. from Tufts University (1988) and his M.D. at Yale University School of Medicine (1993). Dr. Ferzoco completed his residency training in General Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital, MA (1993-2000).

Murray J. Goodman, MD, FACS, practices Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery in Salem, MA. He obtained his B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from Queens College (1968) and his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania (1972). Dr. Goodman completed his residency training in General Surgery at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA (1972-1973), in Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard (1976-1979) and completed his Hand Surgery fellowship as a Christine Kleinert Fellow at the University of Louisville (1979-1980). He is a Clinical Instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Goodman currently lives in Marblehead, MA with his wife and has two grown children.
Dr. Guthman is a urologist practicing in suburban Chicago. He obtained his B.S. at the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign (1984), his M.D. at Northwestern University (1988), and his urologic training at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation (1988-1994). He is an active member of many urologic societies, a fellow of the College of Surgeons, and an active urologic speaker and educator.
Dr. Stephen B. Hanauer is presently Chief of the Section of Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Director of The Logan Center for GI Clinical Research and Co-Director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Center at the University of Chicago. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and his medical degree, with honors, from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Hanauer is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology, respectively. He serves on numerous committees at the University of Chicago and nationally, and is Councilor for Clinical Research on the American Gastroenterology Association Governing Board and is Chair of the Clinical Practice Section of the American Gastroenterological Association Council. He is author and coauthor of hundreds of peer-reviewed journal articles, books and book chapters, abstracts, monographs, and editorials. Dr. Hanauer is editor in chief of Nature Clinical Practice Gastroenterology & Hepatology and is also on the editorial boards of numerous medical journals, including the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and the American Journal of Medicine. He is the outgoing Chairman of the International Organization for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IOIBD).
Dr. Hecht is the Chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center and School of Medicine. Dr. Hecht is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Harvard Medical School and his trauma fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Hecht completed his Spine Surgery Fellowship at Emory University Spine Center. Upon completing his spine fellowship, Dr. Hecht turned to Boston and joined the faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Most recently, he was the Founder and Medical Co-Director of The Newton-Wellesley Spine Center and the Director of the Spine Surgery Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical interests include cervical and lumbar spine surgery, the evaluation and surgical management of degenerative disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, minimally invasive spine surgery and microsurgery. His research interests are in cervical spine surgery and intervertebral disc biology.
Margaret Hickey, RN, MS, MBA is an Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She received her undergraduate education in nursing from Purdue University. She received her Master’s Degree of Science in 1993 and her Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2003 from St. Xavier University in Chicago. Her clinical practice and research interests focus on the areas of spine care and nursing care of the spine patient. She is co-author of The Spine chapter of the NAON Core Curriculum. Margaret is also currently active in several state and national societies.

Dr. Emran R. Imami, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He graduated from the University of Florida and was an Associate Professor of Surgery, teaching Trauma, Critical Care and General Surgery for 12 years. He has published several surgical articles, lectured internationally, and received numerous accolades for his skills as a clinician and teacher. In 1998, he was featured caring for a young accident vicitim in The Leaning Channel's, "Trauma: Life in the ER." In 1998, he developed and directed an adult level II trauma center in Melbourne, FL. Currently, he retains an appointment as Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery, UF, and has established a general surgery practice in Melbourne as Brevard Surgical Associates.
Dr. Laurence A. Jacobs is a Mayo Clinic-trained Reproductive Endocrinologist / Infertility Specialist who has been practicing full-time in the Chicago area for over 25 years. He is the Chairman of the Gynecologic Laparoscopy/Endoscopy Committee at Lutheran General Hospital, a major teaching medical center and in private practice at Fertility Centers of Illinois. Dr. Jacobs has published numerous articles in journals such as, "Fertility and Sterility" and "International Journal of Infertility." He is also a lecturer for numerous community groups, professional organizations, medical center physicians and medical students. After earning his degree from Northwestern University, Dr. Jacobs opted to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology and then subspecialize in reproductive endocrinology infertility at the Mayo Clinic because it provided him a chance to apply medical science in a very tangible, personal way.
Nora T. Jaskowiak, M.D, is presently Assistant Professor of Surgery, Department of Surgery, University of Chicago. She obtained her B.A. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Harvard/Radcliffe College in Cambridge, Massachusetts (1987), and her M.D. at Harvard Medical School (1991). Dr. Jaskowiak received her residency training in General Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (1991-1994 and 1996-1998), she completed her research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (1994-1996) and then completed her Clinical Surgical Oncology fellowship at the University of Chicago (1998-2001). Dr. Jaskowiak started on the staff at the University of Chicago in 2001. She is currently affiliated with the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American College of Surgeons, the Illinois Surgical Society, the Chicago Surgical Society, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Jaskowiak currently lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband and two children.
Dr. Molly A. Katz is a gynecologist who has been in private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio since July, 1981. Dr. Colman Kraff is Director of Refractive Surgery at Kraff Eye Institute where he pioneered and performed the country’s first procedure to correct farsightedness using the VISX excimer laser. The Kraff Eye Institute has been and continues to be the lead US investigative site for all VISX LASIK FDA clinical trials. He actively lectures throughout the world and is one of three primary physicians excimer laser trainers in the United States. Dr. Kraff also has a teaching appointment at Northwestern University Medical School.

Duane A. Lundeberg, MD, is a board certified ENT physician with a private practice in Portland, OR. Dr. Lundeberg obtained his BA at Oregon State University (1973) and his MD at Oregon Health Science University (1977). Dr. Jonathan Waters is currently the Chief of Anesthesia Services at Magee Women’s Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to his arrival at Magee, he was Head of OB/Gyn Anesthesia as well as the director of the Autotransfusion Service at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. His areas of expertise include transfusion management, fluid resuscitation and acid-base theory. He has been honored to present his research at the New York Academy of Medicine, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, Mexican College of Anesthesiologists and the European Society of Perfusionists. He has also been an invited visiting professor at numerous universities including Duke and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute.
