Emmi has significant value for healthcare institutions including

patient satisfaction and minimizing risks from medicolegal and patient

c) Organizations- Benefits include: (1) uniformity of performing patient
education, (2) satisfying JACHO and state regulatory guidelines (3) minimize
medicolegal issues (4) provide excellent management information and maintain
quality of services (5) IMPROVE PATIENT SATISFACTION 6) and attract contacts
from HMOs and Insurance Companies.

I recently completed the Emmi. I found it very informative. It raised questions that I was able to ask my doctor. I will utilize the website again right before my surgery - just in case I have any last minute questions. I am really excited to get my surgery - a little nervous of course but the website offered more of a comfort level. Since the doctor’s office offers this website, it shows me how qualified and experienced they are in this surgery.
All doctors should offer this. There are always things said in the doctor's office that I forget on the way home. The program refreshed my memory and was an effective way to stay informed on the procedure I was about to undergo.
