Using Emmi in Malpractice Trials

As a patient interacts with Emmi, each click is recorded to create a permanent record of exactly what the patient saw, heard and responded to. This information is held indefinitely in secure databases. This irrefutable evidence that a patient was properly informed prior to their surgery can be a very valuable tool in the case of medical malpractice trials.

Admissibility of Emmi

A memorandum from the law offices of Bell, Boyd & Lloyd declared that Emmi is admissible in a court of law to demonstrate: 1) a patient was advised of certain risks, and 2) the patient gave their informed consent for a physician to perform a procedure.
